Betula Books is a small, independent publishing imprint established by Ashley Nixon in 2021. We are making thoughtful, challenging and creative publications in collaboration with photographers, artists, and writers, focusing on sustainability themes in the world. Our authors explore opportunities and challenges around social development issues such as access to and use of food, energy, water, and materials; gender and economic equality; health, education, climate and conservation. We are also interested in contemporary arts and performance in relation to heritage and culture.
Betula Books is big on style and small in ecological footprint. We are looking out for authors with creative and caring minds to work with on a forthcoming series of high-quality and affordable publications (zines) about these and other sustainability themes. Please contact us via the contact page if you believe this might be a good fit for you.
